Charya will present a work-in-progress, Blossoming Antiquities: Rodin's Encounter with the Celestial Dancers of Cambodia, a dance piece with live visual art and original music inspired by the 1906 visit of the Royal Cambodian Ballet to France. As a participating member of the Choreographers in Mentorship Exchange (CHIME), a project of the Margaret Jenkins Dance Campany, Charya will mentor emerging choreographer of Central Asian dance styles, Tara Pandeya.
